Wildflower season has been in full swing for several weeks now in Arizona. The temperatures have been 10 to 15 degrees (fahrenheit) above normal this spring and the rattlesnakes have been everywhere! As much as I love photographing wildflowers, my fear of rattlesnakes has kept me out of the desert.
Contemplating on where my photography is going and where to shoot next, I have been enjoying the digital darkroom. Textured photography can be debated whether it is photography or digital art, but that’s not what this post is about. Instead, below is a gallery of textured photography images. Several have been in previous posts while others are new. The second image, Desert Trees in Fog, was originally published as a split-tone image in my post Sonoran Desert Fog, but it didn’t depict how I felt that morning walking through the dense fog. Now it has been re-worked as a color image with layers of texture to portray my feelings and visualization while I was making the photo.

The reader has been working strange. There are posts I don’t see, including yours, and then if I go through again posts that didn’t show before appear.
Yes I’ve been having similar issues on my end. So frustrating. I knew something was wrong when I only saw maybe 10 new posts in the reader. Gah! Drives me nuts lol.
Yesterday posts were showing up twice!
I’ve had that happen too. I wish they’d get this all ironed out but every time I post in the forum they have an excuse as to why it’s behaving this way so I’ve given up.
