The last time I intentionally stopped to take photos of poppies, I was about half an hour away from the house…up in Salt Lake. I don’t know that I’ll make it down to the west of Tucson, but finding fields of them makes it a little inviting. 🙂
Hopefully we’ll have fields of poppies closer to the valley! Picacho Peak State Park is showing some poppies and it’s very green! East of Globe may have fields of poppies this year too…..
I’ve seen them near Picacho in the past, so maybe I’ll head down that way, make some photos, and climb the Peak…we’ll see…but thank you for the info. 🙂

There are probably even more wildflowers down there now. Further west towards Kitt’s Peak could be in bloom too.
