The calendar says its summer.  Today the air is crisp with a morning temperature of 46 and the high was expected to be 67 this afternoon.  Fall is knocking on summer’s door waiting to be opened so she can enter and make her annual appearance.  The light is changing as the sun moves south creating a warm afternoon glow.

A wonderful day for a late afternoon walk to the park.  My favorite tree is still dressed in emerald but soon will be changing to scarlet.  I have only photographed her in her scarlet attire, but today a quick photo of her in emerald.
