Friday night and into yesterday morning, it was the first snow of the season. And the first snow I have “lived” in since the winter of 1985/86. It was a wet snow that sticks to the tree limbs and due to the wind it also sticks to the sides of the trees.
I was excited to get out and shoot the gorgeous winter wonderland, however, there was a funeral to attend. Knowing that there would be beautiful snow-covered trees at the church, my compact camera went with me. Below is a gallery of images made at the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church along with a few photos from yesterday afternoon at East Lake Park.
