Cotton Candy Pink Sky

Tonight’s sunset looked like the sky was full of pink cotton candy! This saguaro cactus is just around the corner from my home. I have been visualizing this photo for two years!

Paper Whites Bouquet

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, I was thrilled to find Paper Whites blooming at the Desert Botanical Garden.  I was able to make several shots before they were past peak bloom and this particular grouping was like a bouquet.  Two previous posts of Paper Whites , Friday Floral – Paper Whites  and Paper Whites – A Feminine Look, were processed more artistically.  While processing this image I considered and tried several methods with each giving a different feel.  In the end I chose monochrome for Paper Whites Bouquet.
