Wow… can be a bit scary if that one cloud started to rotate a bit more. I’ve experienced monsoon’s out there in the desert before and they are not fun.
Stay safe Tamara.
Thanks Dan! That storm passed rather quickly with quite a bit of rain. Then for a long time it was a steady light rain. The sun started to peak through the clouds and I got my DSLR ready for a rainbow….it was too quick and I couldn’t get a decent composition.
I did! I was waiting for the clouds to start swirling and a funnel! The temperature dropped drastically very quick. Lots of trees and downed power lines, fortunately we didn’t lose power or a tree.

Enjoy your weekend….
I was out in the far northeast valley when it was coming down yesterday afternoon…it was quite wonderful!
The monsoon season certainly ended with quite a show! We even had quite the storm about 3 a.m. today.
Wow! Did you think for a moment that you were back in the Midwest? 😉 Phoenix has sure had the wild weather this summer.
