Friday Floral – Morning Light

Beautiful early morning light last weekend at the Desert Botanical Garden.  Every Sunday and Wednesday members are granted access an hour earlier than non-members.  When first arriving at the garden, the wildflowers are still in shadow.  About an hour later, the sun is high enough to give beautiful sidelight to some of the wildflower beds along the trail.  Once the garden is open to the public it can be difficult to use a tripod along the trail, so you have to work quickly.

Not So Soft – Rather Bold

Last Friday in my post Friday Floral – Some Softness, I mentioned how my photos this year of wildflowers had a softer look.  Well, on Sunday morning while photographing wildflowers at Desert Botanical Garden, the early morning light was incredible!  I couldn’t resist making some not so soft – rather bold images of the wildflowers, this is one of them.

Hope you enjoy!

Unfortunately, due to some infringement of my work, I will be using larger and more significant watermarks.
