So pretty 🙂
Thank you!
Love the contrast.
Thank you Harriet!
Nice take! 🙂 I love covered bridges, although I’ve not actually seen one in person. I aim to remedy that situation, as there is one nearby where my son lives, about 1½ hours away. However, this one doesn’t seem to be in use anymore. I’m guessing the one I’ll be visiting also will no longer be in use anymore.
As for me, this theme turned out to be much more pleasant than I initially thought and you’re surely welcome to come and find out just what I mean. 🙂
Thank you. None of the covered bridges in Madison County are in use.
How many are there? I’ve heard there are a lot but not sure how many.
There are 6 of which 5 are original. One bridge was destroyed by arson and has been rebuilt. Two have been moved and are no longer in their original location.
Thanks. I lived on the other side of Iowa for seven years. I enjoyed my time there. No covered bridges in SW Iowa. 🙂
Beautiful!
Have you read the book..or saw the movie///”Bridges of Madison County” ?
I have read the book and seen the movie. Watched it again after visiting he bridges this past fall.
Wow! This is so pretty, Tamara. 🙂
Thank you Carolyn! I want to go back and photograph the bridges in summer when the wildflowers are in bloom!
I can’t wait to see those! 🙂
